How we choose

We choose one wine per producer and spread the selection across styles and price levels. The producer must have real credibility in natural wine: organic or biodynamic farming, minimal intervention and a reputation of its own. We have not tasted every wine. The texts rely on the producers' information, Systembolaget's product pages and independent sources. Availability is read from Systembolaget's assortment, so a wine that disappears drops off the list at the next update.

What we do not list

Large producers that added a "natural" label without the farming and cellar discipline, and wines that are merely organic or cheap without a producer story. We name no wines here.
