Gigondas from Domaine du Gour de Chaulé, a family estate since 1900 counted among the appellation's most exciting. Around 80% Grenache with Syrah and Mourvèdre, whole clusters and ageing in concrete and old foudres. Silky and elegant rather than heavy.
