En Clémengeots2023
Marsannay from the lieu-dit En Clémengeots, a gentle east-facing slope at 280 metres with red clay over fossil-oyster limestone. Pinot Noir from vines planted in 1951, 1989 and 2006, fermented with wild yeast and half whole clusters.

About Domaine Sylvain Pataille

Sylvain Pataille farms biodynamically in Marsannay, the northernmost village of the Côte de Nuits. He bottles by lieu-dit, such as En Clémengeots, a hectare on a gentle east-facing slope of red clay over fossil-oyster limestone. Fermentation is with wild yeast and partly whole clusters, the wines are aged in barrel, and sulphur is added only in a small dose at bottling.
