Up Tempo2024
Up Tempo is pure Syrah from a small parcel in Saint-Chinian, vinified by David Behar with just two days of maceration. The result is a light, expressive natural wine in a northern-Rhône style — black pepper and dark berries with low alcohol and high freshness. Behar works entirely without additives, using indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention.

David Behar is a DJ and musician from Paris who followed his passion for wine and settled in Saint-Chinian. His micro-domaine is built on Syrah and Cinsault — the varieties that dominate the schist terroir of the area. The wines are made with minimal intervention: no additives, no sulphites. Precise and rhythmic winemaking — just like the music. David combines an artistic sensibility with a grounded craft in the vineyard and cellar.
